Default N/A Engine "Rules"

This I guess pertains to any vehicle, but since I have an 05 V6, I figured I would post here. What are the (I guess you could say) "rules" to race an NA engine. Could if be fully built as long as there is no supercharger, turbo, or spray? I would just like to know what the limitations are. Thanks people!

intake, throttle body(only is you want to blow money on it), heads, valves, springs, cams, pistons, rods, headers, and exhaust

I don't know about rules but that sounds NA to me

then of course if you did charge it, you would put don really sick numbers.
