Default rpm problem

my friend wants to know if rpm problem can be caused by his new exhaust i said it cant

The slow acceleration is unfortunately cause by the v6 in your engine

fluttering idle at start up is normal.

fluttering once at operating temp is a little odd and the tone of your engine changing but your rpms not is cause for concern. Since you're manual, you control your gear. Maybe your having an issue with the dreaded tach motor failure. I believe there is a TSB for it on these forums.

use a GPS and check to see if your speed on it and your speedometer are rising at the same rate. My guess is you may have dead motors in your guages
