Default How well would the 2011 v6 do on the track?

I'm looking at a few used 2011 v6 automatics with the premium packages and was wondering how they would do at the autocross...I'm just a beginner at this stuff. I had a used BMW 330i automatic last year and had a lot of fun at the track. It constantly broke down though, so the v6 mustang with 305 hp and being cheap to repair seems like a happy medium.

It seems like most v6 mustangs come with just the premium package an automatics (finding a manual is difficult). I was just curious if not having like 3.73 axel or anything else affect me at the autocross?

Well I'm not sure how autocross works but I would imagine you want a higher gear ratio.... Most if not all 2011 V6's come with 273s (how they get 31mpg)...

You would be better off with a manual transmission for auto cross.

It depends how deep you want to get into it, if you want to go to the track frequently or just for fun here and there. If it's just for fun they you should be alright with what you got, it's better to learn with a stock car and get use to that instead of dropping thousands on suspension and still not know how to drive.
