What kind of headers are you looking for? Shorties or LTs. A variety of companies (JBA, for example) make shorties, but for LTs I only know of MAC.

Looking for more "ummph" Get yourself a CAI and some Custom tunes. Cheaper than headers and you'll definitely get more of a gain from it. As MFC said, various companies make headers for our 6ers.

Stainless Works makes a set of longtubes both catted and in offroad.

Check it out

i agree with this statement if paying full price ($250+). if you can find a good deal, new/used, i think its a justifiable mod. crisper exhaust note, quicker acceleration (low end). i noticed enough improvement to be satisfied.

i changed out to chrome shorties just so i didn't have to look at the rusted up stock ones...I agree with Sancho, enough of a difference to be satisfied

As So_Cali stated above, if you haven't already purchased a CAI/Custom tune combo, do it! You will feel a nice change in performance. It's well worth the $$$$. ;-)

Headers dont give you much gain. A cai and tuner, along with dual exhaust, is a better use of your money.
I had Mac LT's on my 4.0, but only because I put on a supercharger as well. Sound? It's a v6...wont sound too good.
