Default Rocker Panel

I just wanted to verify with others on the color of the rocker panel before I paint my new chin spoiler, the rocker panels look like a flat black, is that what they are and that is all I need to know.

Its a textured black plastic, but yes flat black would be the best match! I used flat black on my chin spoiler and it matches very well!

Yep, I did the same to mine. Sprayed about 3 coats of flat black with a little drying time inbetween and turned out great. Post pics!

Oh yeah I only used roughly one coat and then some touch up in some areas! I like it because when it gets road damage or anything I can just spray it!

One coat? Woah haha. You must've put on a heavier coat than I did. That was my first experience with painting a body part to be put on my baby, so I was taking it easy and slow: 3 thin-ish coats. But you're right, if you ever get a chip, respray it! Or if it's on the bottom and you're fairly confident it's out of direct eyesight, use a sharpie!

I actually think Late Model Restoration sells a spray can of paint that supposedly matches our rocker covers and rear valence.
