Just wondering...
For all you guys that went with a V6 Stang, and are pushing over 350 RWHP after mods. Is it like insanely fun to have a stock GT roll up to you and act all cool and stuff, and when the light turns green, you blow past them? I think that'd be great.

I had a V6 stang with x-charger, tons of supporting mods etc. It was a rocket off the line, but the top end dropped off way too fast. The entire time I had my XC'd 6er, I didn't have any show-off's with other mustangs. Chargers, etc yes.
I gotta say though, I love my GT

Last I checked the Xcharger Xtreme bought you just a lil over 300 RWHP. Getting to 350 HP would be a chore... Dual exhaust would be the next stop to let her breathe easier, maybe add a bigger MAF housing, a 70mm Zabteck TB or a strannigan port and polish...
After that, youre looking at spending serious dough on heads, cams, forged pistons, and heavier rods.
Unless im missing somehting that is...
In my mind this is the problem with the X- it peaks out around 10 PSI boost, which the stock internals can handle, but you cant do much after the fact. The X isnt designed for more. With vortech or paxton, you can rebuild the engine and throw 15 psi through it easy, not to mention add aftercoolers and the like.

I dont have 350 RWHP but Ive only lost to 1 pre 2010 Mustang GT and that was a 2000ish GT with a Supercharger (probably raced atleast 20). I am trying to resist getting a blower myself till I upgrade the flywheel/clutch/driveshaft.

I believe guys are getting 330-340 RWHP with the Xtreme. Just the 2.8 pulley can put down 300 RWHP with exhaust and 93 octane.

I slapped around my friend in his 03 GT, it was a great time haha
went form a 20 roll and took him by 3-4 cars and kept pulling away from him.
all he kept saying at our car meet was I cant believe a 6 beat me.
