Default Tuner Choice...

Hope this doesn't screw me over for asking now instead of earlier.

I was offered a REALLY good deal on the SCT Livewire tuner, making it 50 dollars more than the SF3.

I obviously went with the Livewire, looking for anyone's opinion here, was that a good choice, or utter waste of Money?

Thanks Again!

Nope good choice. The Livewire does the same things as the SCT SF3 plus more. The SF3 is good for uploading tunes, datalogging, reading and clearing check engine lights and the Livewire can do all that in addition to being able to leave it plugged into the OBII port and use it as a monitoring station for a variety of guages.

And considering the Livewires run $515 on upwards new, sounds like you got a good deal.

Ok, I've been second guessing myself about it since I bought it, still waiting for Bama to finish the tune and send it...

+1 you did good and sounds like a good deal! I have the Scan Gauge II to monitor other parameter in the car. It is always plugged into the OBD port like the Livewire.

Free Tunes for life, versus driving to Tillman or Evolution whenever I need work done, then paying 400 bucks for a tune, can't beat that at all
