Default GT500 front end conversion for V6

I have a 2007 V6 Mustang and wanted to do this conversion to it. It already has the GT bumper and fogs, I don't know if that matters or not just throwing it out there. So my question what's all the parts I need and how much will it cost start to finish? Pics of others who have done this would be great!

You would probably be looking at close to $3,000 for it all.. Everywhere I see the kit is is anywhere from $1500 to $2000 plus paint... I personally would rather have a supercharger for that kind of money

About how much would it cost to piece the kit together?

Well you would need new lights, grill, bumper, probably a few new pieces to mount it.

Then you would have to deal with the fact that you are trying to make a V6 look like a GT500, which alot of people won't warm up to. In this case, I don't mind it myself, but some people may react badly.

Since you already have gotten rid of the ugly V6 bumper, I would say you would probably be better off saving for FI. If you can afford the GT500 front end, save up a bit more and you will be able to afford a supercharger.

I wouldn't recommend piecing that kit together, but if you did you would have to get every part number and have to go through a ford dealership at some point.

If you can paint yourself (have the means/skill/equipment) you could knock a large sum off that final price.

If you are serious about the conversion then here is a link that will help walk you through the process as well as give you a thorough parts list.

Hopefully Pascal or mellowyellow can chime in since they have gone through exactly what you want to do...
