Default Bushings

I need to get some new bushings for my shifter, (manual), having a hard time locating ones that say for v6, just finding results for gt. I am putting in the saleen short throw block, should be all that I need and then will change out the fluid. Best recommendations for fluid, was thinking about Amsoil for the tranny.

not sure on the bushings, but about the tranny fluid, I changed mine in the summer over to Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF...No difference. Maybe lower temps, but tha'ts just gauging from the heat I feel from the tranny tunnel.

www.mossmuscle.com used to sell them for the shifter recently, I cannot seem to find them on their site for the shifter. But I am almost positive the shifter bushings between the GT shifter and V6 shifter are the same. The shifters themselves are very similar if not identical minus the V6 has a bend on the arm that mounts to the body.

Moss muscle doesn't carry them anymore, and I can't find out the specs to see if there is a difference

I can tell you from having a stock V6 shifter and a GT shifter at home that they are the same.... I think there is only 2 bushings you can replace... The round bushing at the end of the shifter arm that mounts to the body and the bushing that attaches to the body on the front side of the shifter. And they are the same between V6 and GT, well at least they look the same to me...

I know steeda offers a set of aluminum bushings, which is what I would like to get, I have seen a set that appears to be what you are talking about, the one that attaches to the body is just like the bushings that attach the front sway bar to the body

Yes exactly, the front side of the shifter's bushing looks like the one used to mount a front sway bar. And the back side of the shifter has a bushing that looks similar in size/design to a rear sway bar end link bushing.

These are the steeda bushings, look like they replace the yellow plastic looking bushings - http://www.americanmuscle.com/ststshbu.html

And this is the Urethane kit, I can't find the one that I saw but it was similar to this except it was 2 bushings - http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ushing-Kit-Red

The first link looks its specific for the Steeda shifter mainly because the stock handle on our shifter isn't adjustable and its 1 piece. The 2nd link is exactly what I am talking about!

What would be the correct viscosity for the t-5 tranny, book only says fill with 2.75 quarts of mercon, I'm torn between amsoil or redline fluid
