Default Exhaust Qs

Has anyone used the longtube kit from Kooks for our V6s?

http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/ca...V6 4.0&pnid=39

Whats the consensus best headers for the 4.0?

Would those long tubes work with the Pypes X pipe and GT takeoffs?

Is this a valid breathing mod with an Xcharger in the future?

Long tubes aren't worth it and the car sound terrible if you run it without cats... Your gains would be minimal.

Now, leaving the manifolds and cats alone, will dual set up actually get me anything powerwise or would that strictly be audio/ visual?

With FI true duals give you some power up top, with FI anything that allows the motor to breathe better will net you better results!

I did used to wonder, however, with F/I, how much difference LT headers made, if any, in power. They do help the engine breathe better, but how much and if it's worth it, that's a good question. Look at vmptuning.com's forums on their site for related topics, as Justin did some dyno testing with various exhaust setups.

Just true duals will give you a noticeable seat-of-the-pants difference with or without f/i.
