Default I would appreciate your advice.

Hello,
I haven't posted in a long time because my grad school schedule has completely dominated all of my time. But, I have an opportunity and I would appreciate some advice from fellow V6 owners. Here is the situation:
I have a Vista Blue v6 with a decent list of mods. One of the visual mods are silver stripes. I have a chance to get an unused set of 2011 Shelby GT500 seats that are the Charcoal leather with the silver stripes. Now, while I think they would look awesome in my car with the silver stripes in the leather and on the car would look super cool but... the seats will have the Cobra logo embossed in the upper back. Is that just wrong to do? How do you guys (and gals) feel about that? Would you put them in your car?
I get irritated when I see V6's with the GT or Cobra badge on their cars. Part of me is thinking that if I put these seats in my car it would be no better. Maybe I am putting too much thought into this.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks for your time,
Anthony

It's your car; do what you want to make it your own to enjoy the way you want to enjoy it.

^^ exactly, do what you want. If you like the seats better than your stock ones, do it!
i would. And i also wouldn't give a second thought if i saw cobra seats in a v6.

Like Nike says, just do it! You aren't misbadging/misrepresenting your car. If they look better than what you have now, pull the trigger,

Worse comes to worse, you put the old seats back in. Give it a shot and signal any naysayers the bird.

I say go for it, you're the one who's going to be spending time in the seats-not anyone else. Do what you see fit, and let the haters bask in the glory that is your well done interior! =)

dude, I hear ya about grad school. I'm in the same boat... Definitely go for the seats! Who cares what's embossed on them. You'll be glad you did. It's not like you're intentionally trying to make people think it's a Shelby as your driving by, no. You simply wanted an upgrade in seats!
