Default Help Identifying Parts

Hi

I just bought some front struts and rear shocks of craigslist and I was told they came off a 2008 GT C/S. I try to search the part number on the sticker and I can't find them anywhere.

Can someone confirm this are actually from a C/S and if they are any better that the GT's?

Front Struts:
7R33-18045-EB
1A12214A

Rear Shocks:
6R33-18080-EH
1A11708

Thanks.

Can't confirm for you, but the shocks and struts from a CS are the same as a normal GT

+1... I believe they're actually the same all the way across as well as the V6. May be different due to different weights of the cars, but doubt it.

Thanks for you replies guy.

I'm replacing them because mines are really and I only paid $50.00 for them, including mount struts..

Replace the upper strut mount bearings as well with the GT500 ones
because reusing the OEMs is not known to be a good thing.
Search "CHUCKLE"...

I know for a fact that the springs in a CS and a GT are the same
as are the struts and shocks.
Now for the springs being different between a V6 and a GT and a GT500,
thats a different story...

Thanks for your reply.

I already ordered the GT500 strut mounts from American Muscle, they'll be here Monday..

Conclusion, it seems as they are the same as the GT's which for some reason came with a different part number, who knows why....

Thank you all for your help...
