Default Some insight on a nearly one of a kind exhaust on a Sixxer!

So I'm new here might as well introduce myself, I'm Jesse, i've had my 2007 tungsten pony package since nearly may, and yesterday I picked up my car with an exhaust that many have feared to do but have remainded curious.
My current setup: Mac cut and clam Prochamber, Two Single Chamber Flowmaster Super 10 series, 4 inch magnaflow tips.
Now I first heard this exhaust on a GMC Canyon that a guy always brought to my work, and it sounded pretty damn good, WOT I could tell it wasn't a V8 and assumed it was a 6 cylinder(later found out it's an Inline 5? ha go figure)
and I was amazed by the sound and how loud it was, so I asked and found out it was a Super 10. I bit the bullet and ordered them. While waiting for them to arrive I researched and researched and found essentially nothing about them on a V6 mustang, and ONE video, in which they overpowered the mic. I was worried as hell that not only would I have a stupid sounding exhaust, but a loud as hell stupid sounding exhaust that everyone would here!
My plan wasn't to make it sound like a GT, thatd just be impractical.
I was shooting for a throaty loud sound, deep would be nice too.
Needless to say this exhaust delivered and was EVEN BETTER!
When I went to pick it up I was amazed how good the tips looked and was immediately exciting. Got the key and on start up the car absolutely ROARED! My jaw dropped it was amazing. I revved and it was far from raspy even in the higher end. It was easily the best sounded V6 i've ever heard.
Now on to the bad part, the drone is IMMENSILY OBNOXIOUS. 2k rpm to maybe 2600 is just like standing behind a plane take off. I'd prefer it wasn't so strong but hey I'll get used to it, and probably do a few tricks to make it more liveable. The car is my daily driver so it will get drowned out in my ears one day.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this setup for a track car! BUT, for most of you guys it'd probably just be way to much and overboard loud as a daily driver, but hey I'm young, and my god do I get looks as I roar by
Eventually I'll get a video up but it will never sound anything like the real deal so I'm in no rush :/
Pics tonight of the tips tho!
And if any of you are as brave as me to slap these on your DD then get a cop raidar! These things are nuts haha, they echo like a tunnel at WOT :O
I'm in the Santa Barbara area and if any of you are near and wanna meet to hear it in person I'd be more than happy. Just shoot me a PM
Good day to you all

Looking forward to hearing your video and next time I'm in Santa Barbara seeing clients I'll have to look you up. I get out there twice a year, start in Costa Mesa and work my way up the coast to Palo Alto. I get to spend at least 2 days in Santa Barbara and that is my favorite part of the trip.

I'm suprised at the quick responses!
I'll film a few videos with my Iphone tomorrow for you guys, won't be the best but no worries I won't do the classic stick the camera in the tailpipe and overpower it routine!
I'm not sure if the rules say I can post pictures yet but worth a shot:

And JimC technically I live in Goleta which isn't so glorius but Santa Barbara really is amazing too many take it for granted, if you're up for it sometime I can show you some secret twisties closer to Montecito that we take the NSX and stang to

i know how you feel on the drone. my magnaflow catbacks are crazy loud (they sound like how you described yours) but you get used to it. unless you drive around in another car for a month lol then youll notice it when you get back in

I didnt go duals but I did get a boomtube axelback. Loud as all hell. My experience was that after a few weeks, it was much more bearable, partly because you just get used to it and partly because mufflers do get a little bit better behaved once they get the chance to set into a setup. My experience, bc the boomtube is much quieter and smoother than it was when I threw it on.

Im in San Diego... I know the east coast kiddies are planning a meetup... maybe we should plan one for the West as well??? Las Vegas perhaps?

Whats a mac cut and clam prochamber?
Maybe some links to these magical exhaust items?
Why the TWO single chambers?
Why not a single 2 chamber muffler?
Am I to assume you have a dual set-up?
How about some pics so it can be duplicated?

Stags and Antonio I'd be more than happy to meet and I've made the trip down to Las Angeles many times, San Diego once however.
And as for Vegas that may be a big stretch for me, I work 48 hours a week and am currently a full time student haha, maybe for my birthday in summer.
157db: A prochamber is a midpipe, similar to an x in design and similar to an h in sound, its pricey, but I wanted to go big or go home
http://www.americanmuscle.com/mac-cu...er-0509v6.html
The cut and clamp part refers to you cut after the stock cats and you use the provided clamps to attach, the alternative would be a long midpipe where you'd have to hack up your original midpipe and weld in the cats to the new one.
I do indeed have true duals, and if i had single setup and had two single chamber mufflers in succession I'd assume it'd have a similar effect as a single two chamber, but since it's duals the sounds never meet to alter eachother.
These would be the mufflers I bought: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-842518/
As for pics I have some but I need help on which code I choose off photobucket because it didn't work the first time? Any help?
Oh and went out and took a few vids today, sounded like garbage.. hoping it's just because it was on my iphone I'll try on a nicer camera probably on Monday
