OK so I was out in the driveway cleaning up the garbage can... don't ask.. long story... but I was using "Scrubbing Bubbles" and my power washer to accomplish this dubious goal.

So... I look at the can of S.B., look at the 'Stang.... look at the can... the 'Stang.... Ah WTF why not....

I shoot the wheels down with the Scrubbing Bubbles. 3 to 5 minutes later I blast them off with the power washer....

HOLY CRAP!!!! Farking things come up SQUEAKY CLEAN.

I can't wait to see what king of results I get with the polychromatic KaBOOM! bathroom cleaner....

Easily works as well as about any other stuff I've tried. Including whatever that stuff is in the purple bottle they sell at AutoZONE... and I thought that was about the best I had ever used to date.

Considering the price of such things compared to scrubbing bubbles, I daresay this is a bit of a score. Though I will be monitoring the finish for any side-effects, thus far, all is good.

 

Contact the manufacturer and have them add "for cleaning wheels, too!" to the label.

 

Scrubby bubbles works well on leather sneakers too.

 

Make sure it doesn't ruin the finish of your wheels after a while. Could happen.

 

I'll have to try that! My Nike sneakers are a little dirty looking...

 

Just make sure it is safe to use on your wheels!

i dont know, but I think it would be harsh on chrome

 

Absolutely will be monitoring the wheels... they're "stock" alloys that come on the "Premium" in '05. As to being harsh on chrome..... are not most bathroom fixtures.... chromed?

Ive seen that stuff in the grocery store, i stick to Windex tho due to chemicals ruining the chrome. not like my wheels are ****ed up enough, had them for six yrs.
