Check Engine Light - U1900 & P0174
My car has the check engine light on and I've used the OBD diagnostic tool and these are the two codes I get:
I have tried Googling, only to be left a bit more confused. So I thought I would post here and see if you guys can help.
I've had the car in the shop a few times already and I am not really looking forward to it going back again. After having the car back the first time, the check engine light came on and disappeared the next day so I thought it was a l good (it went on it's own.) Now it's back and giving a different code (the second code, the U1900 code came before as well.)
- U1900
- P0174

The u1900 code refers to a short in one of your modules. Example your pcm ( power control module) so in you need to get a manual and start checking all the modules. Electrical gremlins can be a real pita. The p0174 code refers to system running lean in bank 2. Maybe they coincide with each other which could be a good place to start. Find the module that controls air fuel ratio.
