Respect your dad, man.
Tunes lead to fast cars.
Fast cars lead to nights at the track.
Nights at the track lead to track groupies.
Track groupies lead to "promiscuous relations".

Father knows best.
NO TUNE FOR YOU!

well he is afraid to let me because my uncle (his brother) put a tune and a chip inside his ram 2500 and it completely ruined the computer. but i suspect that there was something else that ruined it.

LOL.....Love it! Look into (FRPP) Ford Racing tunes..They claim to tune the computer and not to exceed the limits on the equipment. I have one on mine and I love it!

Tuners for our cars are different from years ago, different car manufacturers, ect. There is no problems with SCT hand held tuners. Nothin to be scared of. BAMA created tunes are OK but dyno tunes will give you best results.

Go with a Tune from Bama (American Muscle) and get an intake, you'll never regret it.

This is the one time 'Daddy does not know best'.
He must have another reason and is using the ol
"you will screw it up" technique of keeping the
HP out from under your hood and in your pocket.

Basically a Tune will almost guarantee you will get layed potato chipped.
Keep it in your jeans or wear a raincoat.

I am sure you and him will be reading this together
to help prove your claim as to no damage will occur.
Is the Internet not a wonderful world, Pop?
Sorry, but you lost the 'screwing up the computer' reason.
Next? Balding tires reason? 92 Octane fuel prices?

There's always the official Dad standby: "Because I said so...!"
