Question Does the Shaker support MP3?

I bought a new 2013 Mustang V6 convertible (big mistake this thing has no power at all, so much for the 305 HP it feels like a 4 cylinder car)

anyway, just a quick question, does my Sharker (not pro) support mp3 discs?

I would have assumed that ANY current systems installed in a 2013 vehicle would support MP3 discs. There's one way to find out...

As far as the 3.7L, it makes it's power high in the RPM range. In other words, put your foot in it. A good custom tune should help, especially if it's an auto.

Must be something wrong with yours then....

Speed and Power are all subjective anyways.

I guess because the car before this that I owned was a Camaro 1999 V8 Manual so the feel when I push on the gas pedal from a neutral standing point is very different. but between 100 KM/H if I press on the gas pedal it flies to 160 KM/H within seconds

Really? What kind of 4 cylinder car was that, that would do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds?

The Sync system supports MP3's on a USB stick. Shouldn't matter which audio system.

Yes the system supports MP3 via the usb port on eith a flash drive or your player of choice, but if you want, you can also burn a data CD with the files and those play without issue too.

As for it being slow, plenty of ways around that, the 2.73 rear gears don't help the situation and a tune can help immensely as well. My '11 V6 doesn't feel slow to me, but I came from a 158HP CVT transmission Dodge Caliber, not a big manual transmission V8. At this point I've only got a tune.

OP,

I do believe MP3 is supported for your system. At least I think it should.

Try out a custom tune and 3.73:1 gears. It will really wake up your Mustang and you won't regret getting the 3.7! This engine actually has a lot of potential, you'll be surprised what a few mods can do!

Shoot me a PM if you have more questions about adding power to your Mustang!

Yep, you are shifting way too soon.
Ride out the power band to just below
red line before shifting and then get
back to us...

My 210HP stang is a blast to drive...
