Default Penzoil Platinum Plus

I had been using Mobil 1 for 7 years and recent stats from independent oil analysis on a GMC forum, says PP is better than Mobil 1 and is CHEAPER. I just switched over a month ago. That's my take. It doesn't really make any difference in what synthetic I use.
IMO

I use Pennzoil Platinum or Pennzoil Ultra, whatever I can get for cheaper. I've been using it since I took ownership in 2009. No issues.

In my Stang, I used Amsoil oil and filter changed at 10k mile intervals for the first 38k miles and have switched to Penzoil Ultra. I use M1 in my tow vehicle at 8k-10k mile intervals.

More importantly, use the right oil type to suit your driving habits, environment and your intended oil change frequency or you'll be wasting money. Oil companies like to get rich (as well as quick change joints, dealerships, etc) by convincing people to change their oil at too early a frequency.

Whatever the dealer puts in the car for me lol. I know how to change the oil, just would rather work on more fun projects and leave the regular maintenance to the lackeys :P
