2008 Mustang
I have a 2008 Mustang that I recently purchased. I have another set of rims with snow tires from my previous Mustang that Big O Tires said I can use on my 2008. They mounted them yesterday and I took off, later realizing the Tire indicator was on. I checked tire pressure and added some air. Indicator is still on. Now after reading up on it I found of about the TPMS system. Something I trusted BIG O should have known.
Now I am wondering where to go from here. Also, I am wondering if it would do damage to the system if I just drove for the snow season with the indicator light on?

+1. No sensors in the winter tires/wheels. No big deal. Just hit the reset button.
TPMS is a pain in the azz, forced down the consumers throat. I check my tires regularly. I don't need some POS system to tell me I'm down to 26 PSI or less. Hell, I add air when mine are below 30 PSI and that TPMS system doesn't help squat for that.
