My 2011 V6 Mustang is having a wierd problem. Its been having the check engine light on for some time now. I've taken it to a ford dealer and shop around the area and still no answer. Here is the problem:

My car starts fine but after a while it starts to smell like rotten eggs and it will put itsel in neutral and shutter until i turn it off. Once i turn it back on its fine but the check engine light will be on. Once the light is on it runs ok but has a rough idel. I have modded it alittle i have BBK long tube headers and catted x pipes with a borla cat back and a cold air intake. Anything is helpful at this point.

 

Ummmmmm. Does it have an aftermarket tune?

 

Isn't the "rotten egg" smell usually from plugged up catalytic converters?
