Default Panel in Console

Hey Everyone,

I ended up getting an 06 manual trans 6 cyl.

I found a panel inside the console towards the drivers side. I pryed it off to have a look and it just opens up to the stick shift. The interior is pretty basic, at least when compared to others I've seen in my search. I'm guessing it may be an option that wasn't installed?

That's access to the adjuster on the hand brake. Over time the cable stretches, that's so you can tighten it back up, also useful if your cable needs replacing, so you can put enough slack in it to get it off.

ah, ok thanks. That's interesting as I thought it was awkward enough just trying to get the panel off.

not a bad idea. I haven't actually looked at the back of the radio, but maybe i can run an aux line in to it.

06 Mustangs didnt come with the AUX function.
If it did, the plug would be to the right of the
'door' you found marked AUX INPUT...
Dont waste your time looking on the back
of the OEM radio for those connections...
