loose timing

Default loose timing

does anyone know what could have caused the car to loose timing we changed the head gaskets and apparently my car is off timing now. oh and I have a 2005 mustang v6 by the way

Did you properly set the timing chains when you replaced the head gasket? They have to be oriented properly and use a degree wheel to get them in the proper set up.

I'm with Jim, I'm sure you think the chains are all set properly, but circumstantial evidence says otherwise.

well then how could it have moved without us noticing and all the markings still all line up perfectly.
