Question 4.0 engine shut down while driving

It's been awhile since I've been on the forums. I still have my 2005 4.0 Mustang and experienced my first engine issue.
This morning as I was pulling into my office parking area, the engine shut off and I lost power steering and brakes. The check engine light, oil light and a couple of others came on. The radio and defrost were still working. I had to struggle to turn, since the power steering went out. After I realized that the engine shut off, I was able to restart the car and drive to my parking space.

Anyone experience this issue?

If so, what was the resolution?

I am concerned for safety reasons. If I was going much faster, I could have wrecked into the entrance area due to losing power steering and brakes.

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

You have the same thread open in the 4.0 section Kevin, so I'm closing this one...
