I'm in the market for a 11-14 V-6 premium convertible, manual. Mostly because I really love the older body style but I want the newer V6, not the old V6 on the 05-19. However, finding manuals are next to impossible...if I expand the search to to premium mustangs newer then 2014, the ecoboosts are far more numerous in manual because they are more recent.

So basically, can anyone tell me the performance differences between the 15+ ecoboost convertibles and the 11-14 V6s.

I know the newer mustangs are heavier because of the independent rear suspension, but maybe the benefits of that outweigh the detriments to getting a 14 with the old style rear suspension.

Anyway, just wanted some opinions. Thanks!
