Default Battery Tender

I am shopping around for one so it will help maintain the battery. I see this one on Amazon for $49.99; Battery Tender Plus 021-0128, 1.25 Amp Battery Charger is a Smart Charger, it will Fully Charge and Maintain a Battery at Proper Storage Voltage without the Damaging Effects Caused by Trickle Chargers

Thoughts?

I've used a Battery Tender Plus on my 01/16/2007 Pony Package since 03/04/2009 24/7.

I replaced the battery with the same OEM battery, BXT-96R-500 on 08/23/2014

I've never had a dead battery since using the Battery Tender Plus. Currently at 867 miles (no typo)

I use the Cigarette Lighter Adaptor, PN: 081-0069-5, to make the connection to the vehicle.

(Psst, I keep detailed records on this baby)

I've been using Battery Tenders for more than twenty years on motorcycles, seasonal cars, etc..
I still own my first Tender, so there's that.
A little further up the food chain is this:

I've got a Battery Saver paired with a low-voltage alarm in the rafters of my garage. The leads then hang down into the hood area (or wherever).

Barry, where did you purchase the cigarette lighter adapter? I thought about using the pig tails that come with the tender and run it out the front of the grill. However, hooking it to the cigarette lighter may be easier. Tips would help.
