I got an all stock Black v6 stang with the red leather interior upgrade... what should i do first?

 

I would get dual exhaust first. Then after the exhaust I would go with the intake, then a new tune. After the performance mods I would go to the exterior.

 

didnt really want dual exhaust on a v6... no matter what you put on it, it just wont sound like a v8

 

I personally think the first mod for any 05/06 V6 stang should be a tuner... especially if you have an auto.... The tuner will help with so many shortcomings of the V6 programming and can be used later on when you start adding more mods....

 

go for something cheep first, get some tint on your car.

 

I say rims becuase its a great exterior change. I would say racing stripes, but I would go with white wether than red personally.

see for yourself which looks better... i was gonna go with white originally, till i saw the red... plus i have the red interior, so i think it would look better. Its all personal opinion though..

 

I'd go with the tint first, then stripes, waiting for summer and bigger paychecks to do wheels, then if you still haven't wrecked it I'd work on the performance mods. Just my .02
I had the mustang I got at 16 wrecked in about 6 months... pretty common problem with these cars and kiddos. Don't spend too much until you know the car's limits and quit showing it off so much...

well, i dont show off you can verify that with my girlfriend... i'm already out of that phase. But pretty good advice, and usually... "pretty common problem with these cars and kiddos" is completely right, but i think i'd shoot myself if i was responsible for the wreck of such a fine piece of machinery

 

OK, your car is already nice as it is, remember rule of thumb for any sixer is to make your car fast before looks fast. First of all I would get a cai, PM autobadges for a great deal and remember FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ALL CAIS ARE THE SAME AND WILL GIVE YOU GUYS AROUND 10-15 HP, then I would get the tuner. Now I highly reccommend the dual exhuast because you will never release your cars full potential with a stock system, no it won't sound like an 8, but it will sound nice and mean, trust me. After that I would get a set of gears, 3.73 or 4.10s are fine, as well as a t-lok. Then after that its up to you. Your car will be much more responsive and unless you want a race car I would at this point start to do cosmettic upgrades. See me, I'm almost to this point, but my generation is so damn slow, I have a ways to go before I stop, but I'm making my car a performance V6, so I plan to mod the hell out of mine, but that comes after I get my 05-06.
