Default Bodykit Question

I just had a 3D carbon body kit (for the V6) with the wing, louvers, quarter panel scoops and blah blah...I had a lot of stuff done for the exterior of my car. It looks great and I will post pictures sometime this week, but it is dirty so I would rather not do that right now.

Which brings me to my question. 90% of the parts install with only double sided super sticky tape stuff. (the rear end had like 4 screws). How long should I wait before I wash the car? I am considering the new paint as well as the new tape crap. My body guy has never worked with this stuff before and he did an awesome job, but has no idea how long it will be until it is complely cured or whatever. Before you ask, I tried to contact the dealer of the item and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I would like to know the answer sooner than later and I am sure somone here has dealt with this type of install before.

Oh, one more question before I forget. There has been a lot of talk about the GT grille conversion from West Coast Performance Parts. I had my list of problems getting it installed but it's in there now. I have the GT switch, battery wires, highbeam wire, and fog lights all plugged in. (By the way this is the newer harness). I just cannot seem to find the second wire to be spliced (that goes down to the signal light on the passenger side on the right of the windshield washer fluid container). Charlie sent me a picture and tried to talk me though it over the phone, but the picture is a little small and black and white, and without that I don't have a hope. If anyone here has done this install with this wire harness could you please post a good picture or talk me through it. The car looks cool with the Grille and lights on it, but it would be much cooler if they worked as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wash your car whenever you are ready, the tape should of dried within a few hours. If you are uncertain, then just go the areas where he put the kit on and just kinda see if its fully stuck, in other words apply a litte, and I mean a hair bit of pressure to the area to see if it looks like the tape will peel, if not then your good, but you should be well off.

Alright, here we go. The car is still dirty, and there are a lot of shadows but the pictures will get the point across. It is the 3D carbon V6 bodykit with the wing, 3D carbon louvers, 3D carbon hood sccop, 3D carbon quarter panel scoops, 3D carbon U trim on the rear windshield, GT Grille and Fog lights, shorty antenna, 18x9 wheels and Nitto tires, and smoked tail lights. I think that is it.

You just take your picture, jpg or whatever, and at the bottom of your post there is a link "click here to upload". Click that, use the browse to select your picture from where you have it saved on your computer, and then click OK. You should be all set.

There might be other ways, but I figure you will need a program like Fireworks, or Photoshop to edit the picture. If you have one of those, or a program which gives you the following option, give it a try... Look somewhere for an option to resize the picture (search in help for the program you have). I resized mine to 12 inches wide, which is pretty good for the internet. If you shrink them down, they shouldnt distort. I think they will only distort if you make them larger.
