I have heard that on our model mustangs, the headers dont give us that much extra performance. However it would benefit you more if you had exhaust done at the same time. If I got headers I would go with JBA. If you get headers, get the ceramic ones, they are the best. Im not exactly sure how much hp and tq it would add, maybe around 10 to 12 hp and tq.

I have done a fair bit of research on this, from what I understand, the stock headers are actually pretty good. Changing out the headers will yield at most 5HP. However, if you plan on doing a lot of mods, like nitrous, SC, etc. Then it would be a good idea to change out the headers and put in some high flow cats with x or h pipe exhaust. But if you are going to be in the light to moderate mod arena, like exhaust, cai and chip. Then I would mess with the headers. I plan on doing the headers at some point, but right now only JBA and MAC make them for our cars, and honestly speaking, JBA is over pricing thier headers way too much. I would wait on the market to mature a bit, and focus on other upgrades like a tuner, CAI, exhaust....after that a traction lock and gears.

Just my two cents.

I have heard basically the same thing...that you will not get much of a performance increase from headers, and that the stock Ford headers are pretty good.

If you're going for looks, then go for it, but I would waste the money on headers if your looking for a performance gain.
