I put Eibach sportlines on mine (close to 2" drop), I wish I went with the Prolines (about 1.4" drop). Its a little too low, I scrape speedbumps. I will probably be changing to the Prolines.

Hi, this is my first post on the forum... I have my 05 screaming yellow which I got myself some GT rims and changed out the bumper myself and stuff...

I want to lower my stang but not way to much... i dont want to have a problem hitting speed bumps and stuff like the previous mentioned. Would the 1.4

drop be good w/o having to worry about stuff like that or maybe the 1 inch kit i think steeda had be good? I want to fill in the wheel wells a little better.

that article is quite helpful, but i also want to make another option available to everyone who is very serious about lowering their car but dosnt want to comprimise their ride comfort. My neighbor works for a performance shop and has made a deal with a company called road magnets. they are testing out a whole line of springs for 05/06 cars (not just stangs, but thats one of them) and i get to be the test subject , which means they give me the springs for free! if i dont like them, they put my stock springs on, and REMAKE the aftermarket springs until i like the drop level, and the ride comfort. All of the owners cars they have tested so far have liked the springs drop and the ride comfort more than stock. That is supposedly their "goal" in their springs, Better than stock ride (smoother) and a drop that dosent make you a 1/4 of an inch off the ground.

They will be releasing a new line of springs at some point, if you want to upgrade other things in the mean time. But i will update you all on the springs once i get them installed and let you know if its worth waiting for or not.

I just had the Eibach Pro springs installed. They're great, but like the above-mentioned article says, they really expose the weaknesses in the rest of the suspension - so plan on shocks & struts, too. No problems with speedbumps or driveways.

I also put Eibach but only the 1.2 in front and back and it came out great. I have some 20 x 10 in the rear and 20 x 8.5 in front. No problems and I would strongly recommend.
