So basically, because im posting in the v6 forum, i have a v6, and to get down to it, i recieved $250 to do whatever i want with. The car is a torch red manual, and it's basically flat off the assembly line, no mods, except sequential turn signals. I want to keep it to a single exhaust because i don't want to deal with cutting through the bumper or buying a new one[:'(]. So I've been looking for single ehausts, and nothing really catches my eye. Possibly the magnaflow single, but any input would help. I know for sure, im going with singles, so please don't say," go for duals.." I've also been wondering about possible hp gains. This is a very touchy subject because my mom already hates the fact that i have a car that goes faster than her van. But im just wondering about possible hp gains for the money. Just basically any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've looked through the other "i have x amount of money" threads... but none have been useful. Anything would be great

 

A single GT-take off axle-back is a very inexpensive way to go, plus it sounds great! Though, if I had stuck with a single, I'd have gone with the Ford Racing axle-back made by Borla or the JBA.

 

Alright, that's a very good idea, so there is magnaflow, JBA, and Borla as suggestions, what are the pro, cons to each, i've looked up some of them but i can't find any sound clips...
