I bought a 2006 V6 Premium Mustang with the Pony Package about 4 months ago. I love my car and have been researching different wheels to add to my car. Not sure if I will or not, but looking into it. I believe my current wheels are 17x8 on the pony package. I have never bought wheels for a car before, so I was curious on how to go about it. Do they have to be the same size to fit on my Mustang or can i buy 18x8 or 18x9? Would appreciate any info on what sizes can fit my car. Thanks for the help...

 

i believe that you will be able to put on bigger wheels (a lot of people have done it pretty easily)

you should not have clearance problems unless you are going for really big wheels (20s+)

 

Thanks...I've seen a '06 Mustang with 18x9 front and 18x10 rear wheels, so must work. Guess I need to do some more research
