ORIGINAL: Truxtun

soooooo... whatcha doing with the old Silver one? *he asks, hoping it would be sold to someone with a Silver Stang*
Sorry but it was one of the prototyp fiberglass ones. (that is why i got 2, when i won the ebay auction i got the silver one right away then when the production covers were ready i got one of those all i had to do was pay for the paint)

For the install of the silver one it was alittle tuff it did not quit fit. I finaly got it on there but when i took it off i noticed several stress cracks in the paint So now i am going to use it as a practice pieace for my air brush befor i get to the real one

as far as cost to paint

just to let every one know the production cover go on WAY better then the originals just clip it on and your done!!

here are some pics of the cracks on the cover

Scheetz83 and Bztz4m those plenum covers look great. They really make the engine look finished. Great work!

i think a good intake and plenum cover really clean up that messy engine quite nicely... nice pick!
