Default Squealing brakes

I have a Mustang with about 8000 miles, (2005 V6) and have an irratating issue with the brakes. They intermittedly squeal when backing up first thing in the morning, and every so often coming to a slow stop. The brakes work fine... This is always while I am moving slowly, like in a parking lot or out of the garage. The problem seems to have started after about 3000 miles or so... The dealer has changed the brakes and turned the rotors. The problem is still there. I wonder if anyone has heard of this problem. Service manager has told me that this is not uncommon, but I've owned other Fords and never had a squeal. Any ideas out there?

I have over 11000 miles, and mine just started last week. I haven't had it checked yet.

I got 13000+ and mine started at 25 miles, 2 miles from the dealership. Took it back they did a temp fix (probably sprayed them) and came right back after a few miles. There was quite a few posts on this issue awhile a back. I've learned to live with it, play the stereo louder, new intake and axle back seem to help, at least til I change make rotors and pads over.

I too have a squealing brake issue. My car has about 25k miles on her, and now she starts to squeal. The dealer replaced all brake pads and the problem went away for about 100 miles. I am going to take it back to the dealer for further work. I have heard that there was a S.B. on this problem, but it was for early-05 models. It's a great car, but with dash rattles and now squealing brakes...it's starting to drive me crazy.

My brakes had a bad squeal during light to moderate decelerations from speeds below 40 MPH. It started at like probobly 6,000 miles took it in at 7,000

I told them this

TSB 05-18-10 Brake Noise - Vehicles built before 3/8/2005

Now the TSB says to installl revised rear brake linings following procedures in workshop manual Section 206-04 Do not replace or turn rotors, and do not service the front brakes for this conditions.

Well printed the TSB gave it to them. Got it back and it said they deglazed all brake pads and scuff rotors. I have no complaints, I have not heard a sqeak or squeal yet.

Well I have had my breaks squeak on my 2006 mustang but I think its a different reason. I have noticed that my Rotors have rusted up pretty good after sitting for a day or two, and when I first start it up and back out of the driveway they squeak. But my squeak I think is due to the rust that accumulated on the rotors. Sounds like the problem might be different for the 05s.

My baby is just turning 8000 miles... I noticed a few days ago my brakes squeeking after sitting a few hours on a parking lot... then noise stops after things warm up. I am thinking Ford probably is using Cheap inferior brake pads and getting aftermarket good pads will cure the issue.

As demonstrated with my "foggy fog lights"... if Ford can't produce a quality item to meet factory quality specs... they just lower the specs.
