Default High Mileage Already

Had "Sophie" since Nov '04, and she has 50,071k miles on her. I work 40 minutes from home, but it's all high way driving. How long do you think our stangs can go without losing its gusto?

at 60,000 that would be the safest time to get a supercharger all the kinks will have been worked out and shes gonna beg for boost

it all depends on how you treat it....

treat it well and it will return the favor

let it warm up
change the vital fluids at FORD recommended mileage due dates
and then obvious things such as not flooring it at every stop light and not beatin on it when it isn't fully warm.... the obvious things u do for a car u enjoy driving

Do yourself a favor and don't look at the Kelly Bluebook site with those miles on it. I did and with less than half the miles you have and brother, it ain't good! I may have to supercharge mine instead of trading it for a GT next year like I had planned.

Right now im doing about a thousand miles a month, I just started limiting myself to the amount I drive her. I am trying to limit myself to five hundred miles a month, I really am hoping I can accomplish this so I can keep my baby newer.
