shops in general i use my dad's home / his shop (UCI) ... thats how all the labor is done :]

but for performance shop, i go to the one in Mission Viejo, GRCperformance.com products are pretty cheap but labor is expensive so yeah... like a magnaflow tru-x catted x-pipe for 96-04 mustangs is $400 at GRC but online its alot more...

well basically, i the most amount of work i have ever done to my car is change the oil. i dont know crap about it. but i am going to be getting an mid pipe soon (still havent decided which one...), and when i do, i think it would be cool to either do it myself, or to be able to watch someone else do it for me. so whether that is a shop, or a friend or someone from here, i dont care. same with springs.
but mission viejo is kinda far for me to drive out if im gonna be paying for labor.

Hey jEED, I just landed a job at GRC Performance!!!

Since I'm only 16, I'm just doin routine stuff, like oil changes, moving parts, wrenching stuff...until I get some more experience...(I built the Cobra in my sig, but they want more experience...lol)

I think I will be starting soon...Umberto hasn't given me "the call" yet, but I'm expecting either tomorrow or Saturday. I'M SOOOO EXCITED!!!

ST Motorsports http://www.spankintime.com/home.html

He's the only one I can trust to work on my car, and being that I drive 120 miles one way says a lot about them.

so GRC is good? i spoke to the owner about doing a motor swap. prices seem high but he says he'll take care of it right. I called Chicane and he won't quote because he doesn't want to encounter any suprises that may cost him more time.

anybody else?
