West LA, CA Shop / Suspension
Does anyone have a recommendation for a performance shop in the Los Angeles area. I need to get some suspension work done on my car and I don't have the tools to do it.
Thanks

Didn't you ask before and I told you Extreme Automotive in Canoga Park on Canoga blvd? I don't recommend them for motor work or tuning but they are excellent installers.

n any event I will try them. Thanks.
Sorry - so many people..lol
Like I said, they don't offer custom tuning and I wouldn't get motor work done there, but they are great installers and reasonable priced.
Sean is the owner and a nice guy.

^ sounds like a cool place. Do they do superchargers?
Tek, another place came to mind, have you been to Globe tire & motorsports? They do all kinds of cars, especially highline cars with very technically tricky parts, so our suspensions should not be too much of a problem for them.

well currently he's working on 2 gt500's and making them about 600-650hp. i try to make it down there every 2 weeks just to stop by and check out some BEAUTIFUL whips. there's a 1967-1968 ford mustang fastback completely redone to look like the eleanor from gone in 60 seconds with so much stuff it's ridiculous. the owner is form japan and he's taking it back with him. now that's awesome. eleanor in a continent of 4banger turbos. lol gotta love v8s.
oh yeah he's a saleen authorized installer, worked for saleen for 13 years as a chief mechanic. this guy is the true mustang guru.

definitely man. i'm gonna say i'm really going to try. i had a close call earlier today and it was not one for the books. slid out in the rain and did a 720 and was facing opposite traffic and i stalled. i was shaking for hours. this is my first mustang and all i've been accustomed to driving was my solid ml320. havent perfectd my rain driving just yet.
Hey r3velation, how are Joe's rates at Chicanesport for installing lowering springs and a panhard bar? Does he charge a lot? If not, I'm also considering to check his place out also. Sounds like a cool place
