Default what size and brand

I just got 18' dd from american muscle. They recommend putting 255/45/18 on them. I was wondering what size should i really get and what are good brands to go with? I only drive my mustang during the nice weather months, but i do drive in rain. Along with the fact that i am from PA and the roads are the worst.

Is the wheel at least 8" wide? If so, the 255 would be fine.

You could go with something like a goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3. They perform very well in in dry and wet conditions.
