Default rim question

i tryed serching for an aswer but couldnt find any
im helping out a friend here she just got a 95 mustang v6 convertible she is wants to get new rims bc the stock ones r ugly anyway she found these on ebay they look to be good quality and a good price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-9-...83146292QQrdZ1 now im wondering is 9 inches to wide, i dont want it to look bad and have the tire sticking out past the body of the car. i dont think 9" is to much but i just wanna make sure befor i tell my friend its ok to buy them. also what do you guys think of those rims does anyone on here have experience w/ them
thanks in advance for the help
