Racing Wheel expert needed.
I've got an 87 gt with the pony rims. Looking to go wider with some black steel racing rims. I'm trying to get the wheelbase as wide as possible without trimming fenders. Should I go with 16x8s or 16x10s? What kind of backspacing should I go with? I'm at somewhat of a loss here. Thenks fellas.

if you wanna go light, you want 15's not 16's
a 15x10 will fit with a 6.5" backspacing, however, they will stick out and MAY rub your fenders
15x8 with a 5.5" backspacing will fit perfectly with no fender modifications, and you can run a 275/50/15 on them which will give you plenty of tire to put the power to the ground with
