wheels and tires
I have a 2003 GT. I'm about to replace wheels and tires.First question, has anybody heard of Vredestein tires. Found a good deal on wheels and tires, but I've never heard of these tires.Next, I want to go with bullitt wheels, but I can't decide on a finish. It's between the original, the chrome and the silver. Anyone got photos of a white coop with any of these wheels. I would greatly appreciate it.
The rims and tires I'm considering are packaged with Vredestein tires, as well. I assume you're probably looking at a rim/tire package from AFS Wheels?
Have you checked out their black chrome bullitts? They're stunning.
I have yet to read a "bad" review about Vredestein tires, but the majority of people I've asked haven't ever even heard of them, so take that for what it's worth.
I'll probably still go with the AFS combo (I like the black chrome R's more than the bullitts on my '94), as the rims/tires package works out to only $75/tire, as compared to the price of rims by themselves. If the tires suck, I'll deal with them until they die and just replace them with something better.
If you happen to hear anything about Vredestein tires, let me know!
Good luck,
-Jordan

Vredestein has been around since at least as far back as the mid-70's, and I had a set of some model or other of their tires on one of my cars back then. It's been far too long to use that experience as a direct recommendation, other than using it to indicate that Vred is not a far-Eastnewcomer to the tire business.

The vredestiens have been around for a hundreed years. These tires are very very sweet. They handle like no other, dry weather and rain they are unmatched. Check out this link. I wont ever put another tire on my car except the vredeteins. They avery reasonably priced too. We area distibuter for them, so if you need any let me know i can get you some at a good price.
