Default 4 lug to 5 lug conversion

ok so I have a 92 mustang that I bought some 18 by 9s 24mmand want to run 245 45s for the front and 18 by 10s 22mm and want to run 275 40sfor the back and am having a hard time finding a 94 or 95 mustang to take the front spindles from and I have read that the 96 plus I will have clearance probs. I am going to buy hardened axles for the rear,I want to do it right I was thinking about doing a rear disk conversion but I have a very large cam and am on a budget, or going to a bigger drum like 10 inch. what to you suggest I want to get it right the first time.

Default RE: 4 lug to 5 lug conversion

You are trying to squeeze alot of tire/wheel under a Fox body, aren't you? Sounds good to me, but the 10's are going to be tight. I cannot say which spindles/axles to use, but Saleen used to do this conversion to get 5 lug wheels on thier rides prior to the stock '94 Ford conversion. You will have to rotate or possibly remove the quad shock in rear and do lots of research.

Try searching for mustang 5 lug conversion and see what you come up with. Seems to me that comes up with some good links.

Good luck. Jazzer
