Default tire size

i have 17x9 with 245/45's on them, all the way around, im keeping them up front but imma wanting sumthing with more traction in the rear, but i dont want dr's, so ive been told that the 245's arent the best for traction, so can yu recomend a new size? something with alittle more traction and less spinning? i have 3.73's also and a 5speed

The largest tire, or rather widest, I have heard on a Fox Body without issue was a 275. You can fit them on a 9' rim, but should confirm clearance to the quad shock (may needto rotatethem 180°).

If you want to go new rims, 10's will supposedly fit, but have not seen it done.
