Default Chrome question.

I have a set of 20" Mob Torrio wheels that came on my '06 GT. The guy before me put them on with a set of Sumitomo HRZ2's. The rims are really cool and are definately eye catchers. Their just a little too "Pimp" for me. I would'nt mind keeping them, but I want them blacked out. Is there any paint or powder coat that's worth the trouble of doing it? I would just sell them and buy new ones, but I really don't need to spend the money for new rims when I have perfectly good ones. What do you think?

It is my understanding that powder-coating wheels is not too expensive, although not sure who does it. I would think that you would need to get the chrome stripped first and would therefore be prohibitably expensive.

Do some searching around for someone who powder-coats wheels and ask.
