Eibach questions ??????????????????/
Ok, I want to lower my 2004 Gt that I just bought, and would like to hear some pros and cons of the pro-kit vs. sportline kits. I guess that the sportlines lower the car what some would say is too low for daily driving. How about the ride? I plan on installing caster-camber plates, so what other geometry issues are these going to cause. The pro-kit is listed as 1.5 drop. Those that have installed the pro-kit, have any really measured how much fenderwell gap was decreased, was it 1.5" Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciatied since I would like to buy the parts once and get the results I want the first time. Thanks.
I am not a fan of Sportlines. As you stated, they drop the car about 2" and does create some geometry issues. CC plates will help, but the ride will suffer as the springs must be stiffer to avoid constant bottoming out of suspension.
I too like a small fender well gap, but not at the expense of handling and ride. I personally recommend staying SportPro and maybe just a slightly higher profile tire if you REALLY want to reduce the gap that much.
