Default offset question

I bent a wheel so I have to order a new one, but the reverb has been discontinued and I cant find any used ones in my size. I found the 18x8.5 with a 45mm offset and was wondering, would it be possible to take an 18x8.5 and widen it to 18x9.5 then fix the offset? Could I add a spacer or what? Any help appreciated

What you are proposing, can be done, but would be hard to justify cost.

I myself have sent a set of wheels to Weldcraft for widening, as I did a LOT of research and found them to be the best. The cost to have this done a year ago was $225 per wheel (reguardless of how wide/narrow it was made) and shipping both directions would be extra.

As for spacer, I would ONLY do such a thing with longer studs as I have myself running 1/2" out back.

Contact Weldcraft and see what they say about off-set "adjustment"

Nice pic of you and your ride, BTW

Lol thanks, thats funny I did a google search and had sent them an email earlier, still waiting to hear back from them. Cost is the least of my concerns because I cant find the right wheel so I just have to take the right diameter and widen it and just adjust the offset. Thanks for the info Jazzer , I was worried as to wether or not they would be able to do it.

Damn I guess they cant do the offset adjustment:

Hello,
Can't do anything about the offset .... if we add to the inside of the wheel that will increase the back space as well.
So if we add the 1 inch to the inside it will not effect the front offset.
Your looking at $215.00 per wheel to do and three to four week turn around time.
Thanks
James

Now i dont know what to do
