Default Need New Shoes

I need new tires. I have a 95 with 01 GT 17's with lowpros but they are tired and need to be replaced. I know NOTHING about tires so any advise would be great. The car is a DD, i dont take it to the track or anything like that. I just need a good set of street tires that will last me a while. I love the look of lowpro's but was told they dont last as long as reg. tires; is that true? If so i guess Ill just stick with regular tires...

Thanks,
Matthew

245/45/17? low pro's is a pretty general statement.
Goodyear Eagle GT is a newer tire by Goodyear thats getting great reviews, and at a decent price.
These days there are so many choices out there its insane.
Dont get the OE Eagle ZR gatorback. Way over priced and not that great of a tire in my opinion.

Take a look at the BFG KDW tire. Excellent traction, quiet (for a performance tire), smooth ride. Even has a treadwear warrenty.

They're $132 each at tire rack.

But, I see that they no longer offer the treadwear warrenty. I wonder why not?

We do have them in stock but I was not aware of them ever having a treadlife warranty.

I have them on my Cobra for street use. They have a 35K mile warrenty on them from BFG. I don't think they're going to make it; too many donuts in the parking lot.
