Default TPMS questions

Hello, tried searching the forum for some answers before posting but couldnt come up with anything. I had a customer drop off a set of wheels with tires on. He wants the wheels refinished and didnt know the tires needed to be removed first. As a courtesy i said i would run them down to the local shop to have them removed for him. I noticed when i got them back to my shop they have the sensors and they are valve mounted. My question is how do i remove these without damaging them, or is it not possible? All the ones ive had to deal with in the past werent pressed in and held in with a nut from the front. Any links or guidance would be appreciated.

Remove that Torx screw and the sensor will come off.

Also, he will need to replace the stems, there are special ones for this application. I am assuming you will need to remove the rubber stem as well to refinish. Most tire shops should have them. Once the sensor is removed, the stems come out just like any other.
