Default Polishing Wheel Center Caps

Well long story short, one of my wheel center caps went 'missing' when I last took my car to the dealership to get repair work. I had some cheapo fobra caps and wanted to switch to the bullitt style caps anyways. Did some searching and found out that they come pretty expensive new. Found what I thought to be a decent set on ebay, only to learn that they have some decent scratches in them.

So is there any way to wet sand or polish these to get rid of the scratches or am I out of luck? Thx for the help guys.

Unfortunately.... I doubt it

They are usually an stamped aluminum plate with a clear plastic coating over the top to protect it. I would take a CLOSE look at them prior to putting any solution in which to polish them. Make sure you are not rubbing over thin paint on aluminum, or it may warp or remove colors.
