Should I stagger my tires. (Drag radials in rear with kdw's in the front)
ive seen ppl stagger their tires and wheels by the width, but i wanted to do somthing different without affecting performance. i noticed that bfgoodrich makes the most badass drag and street tires available (to my knowlege) and i really want to put both on my car. the tires are g force drag radials for the rear and g force t/a kdw for the front. if you pay attention to the tire tread they are slightly identical, which made me want to do it in the first place. for the rear i was thinking 315/35/17 and in the front 275/40/17. i dont kno too much about sizing besides width/top of rim to top of tire height/rim size. this is going to be a daily driver for a person who really wants to see what the car is made of. i dont even have the car yet but im getting all the information i can before i get into this project. i didnt even think it be worth joining a forum until now. the links are below (its the new tread for the kdw's
and the first tread for the drag radials.)

BF's are NOT the baddest drag radial.....far from it. If you want a tire thats gonna work at the track then go with the Mickey Thompson drag radials or even hooisers radials are awesome. If you dont care about performance then get the BF's. Also, I dont know for sure if a 315 is gonna fit out back with out major modifications. I DO know that the 275 fits in the back just fine with minor massaging. That being said I would throw the 275 in the back and maybe a 255ish up front?

if i do end up putting new tires on it, idt im going to put it on the strip. ive heard m/t's r the stickiest tires out there, but do you think id get away with driving those on the street? and for sizing, i was going to re configure the lugs from 4 to 5, and put 17's on the car. my dads got 275's on his 2003 mustang wrapped around the stock rims. they still look a little skinny to me tho, idk if its the rims or wat. and i saw 315's on a 96 and nearly **** myself. so im kindof set on fatties.

I've had my mickeys on for I believe going on 4yrs,and I occasionally street drive. The stance of a fox and 03 are way different, a 275 on a fox looks great,I could see on an 03 were it wouldn't look good. Id stick with the 275 in your case.

I'm not interested in drag racing, so I can't comment on the Drag radials but I have a set of the BFG KDW 2s. Best tire I've ever owned.
+1 on the stagger, but don't make your front sidewall too big, there is no point.
And I don't think Fox's can take tires as big as a SN-95 or New Edge.
