Tire Size Differnece
I am looking at two wheel/tire packages. Both are for the same wheel FR500 18x9/10. But they have different tire sizes included.
One package comes with 275/35 and 285/35
The other comes with 245/40 and 265/40
Why such a difference in tire size. Which tire will fit better on a 2000 GT with stock suspension?
Thanks

They are all within a fraction of diameter difference and is negligable anyway, so would not have any concern.
The eBay ones will be a bit thinner and offer some better turn-in response and is how quickly your car begins to change direction when you turn the wheel. This will also make your rim a bit more vulnerable to curbs and such, so you need to be more careful parking along sidewalks (you should obviously use caution REGARDLESS of which ones you buy!)
The improved turn-in will also be a bit better in the corners, as the sidewalls will flex a bit less. This will improve your handling, but can make the car a touch more "darty". Ride quality will be just about the same, so comes down to whatever you think is a better fit for you.
FWIW... they are not a very high-performance tire, so if your looking for serious grip, either lateral or off-the-line, you should consider another tire, IMO. If you are looking for nide DD tire with reasonable grip in all areas and very good in heavy wet, these would be a good tire for you
